Iguana Beach
No images available for this event.
Iguana Beach is the family-friendly counterpart to Flamingo Beach on Renaissance Island. Shallow waters, soft sand, and a safe lagoon make it a hit with children, while iguanas bask on rocks at the edges of the beach.
Kids love spotting the iguanas sunning themselves and you can often photograph them against the pale sand. Early afternoon, when the iguanas are most active, gives you the best chance for lively shots. They’ll nibble on bread, but locals say cherries are what really draw them close.
