Playa Grandi / Playa Piskadó
Playa Piskado, also called Playa Grandi, is a working fishermen’s beach that became famous for its turtles. Fishermen clean their catch on the pier, drawing turtles that linger just offshore, making this one of the most reliable places to swim with them. Colorful boats, nets drying on the pier, and turtles gliding through clear water create a cinematic, very Curaçao scene. It’s less about lounging and more about getting in the water and sharing space with everyday island life.
Snorkeling & Diving Note: Best known for swimming with turtles around the fishermen’s pier. Turtles are easiest to spot in the morning (roughly 8:30–11:00 AM). Not a true dive site, but great for underwater photography.
