Directors Bay
Directors Bay is a small, dramatic cove tucked between cliffs, once reserved for Shell Oil executives and now open to the public. Its steep rock walls, quiet setting, and clear water give it a cinematic edge — rugged but beautiful.
It’s a favorite for divers and photographers who come for the steep reef wall just offshore, where coral drops into deeper blues. At golden hour, sunlight hits the cliffs in a warm glow that feels almost theatrical.
Snorkeling & Diving Note: One of Curaçao’s top wall-diving sites, with a steep drop-off and rich marine life. Great for advanced snorkelers and divers.
