This may not be the prettiest beach on the Island, but it is home to the famous sea turtles. If you want to see the Turtles together it’s best to be there early when the fisherman come back with their catch: The giant turtles all feed on the fish scraps before heading back out to deeper waters.

Talk to the Fisherman and for a few guilders they’ll point out where the Turtles probably are, if you missed the feeding. The turtles are friendly and accustomed to people, and they seem happy to have you swim with them (but please don’t touch them).

There are a few snack bars and food trolleys here, and you can always get a cold drink, but this is probably not where you want to plan to have your meal for the day.
