Overlooking the water in Rif Fort, Ceviche 91 is a seafood and sushi restaurant with a strong Peruvian influence. The menu has plenty of ceviche options — from the classic lime-and-cilantro style to more inventive mixes — along with tiraditos, seafood platters, and a few meat and vegetarian dishes for balance. The open-air terrace looks out over the harbor, making it an easy spot to sit with a drink while watching boats move through St. Anna Bay. This has long been a favorite of the Otra Guide team, so we’re sad that it’s currently closed. The owners are working to reopen, and we’ll update you as soon as they do. This is a one-of-a-kind local Fish Market Restaurant concept. Fish straight out of the ocean is what you get. Upon arrival, you will notice a long line at the door, which might take some time until you are seated, but that is simply because you will pick and order your fish first and then be led to a table. It takes a few visits to get used to this system, but in the end it's all worth it. It's a low-key experience, yet in such a gorgeous location. The whole restaurant itself is built right over the water. Simple, tasty, Fresh Caught Fish, that’s what you get here! TIP: Try the Barracuda, you’ll be surprised! This bar and Restaurant is part of the Rennaissance Wind Creek Resort, located both on a terrace overlooking the beach and saltwater pool - or seating is available on the beach. Both areas have great views of the Cruise Ships and are perfect for watching sunsets. The venue is hip, casual, trendy, romantic, with a menu that is slightly more up-scale than most Beach View Venues. They serve International, BBQ, and Seafood fare, to consistently high reviews on their food and staff.

This popular Bar/Restaurant is located right on the beach at Coral Estates. You can find a table under one of their Red Umbrellas or under the shade of the large palapa. It has a cozy Beach Atmosphere with lots of visual eye-candy walking by. They serve Comfort Food with a Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner menu that varies with the time – and they always have a full bar of Cocktails, Beer and Wine. It can get very busy at lunch on the weekends and at sunset.

This bright pink restaurant in Kura Hulanda is the passion project of owner Lisette, who catches the Lionfish early each morning by scuba-diving for them. Lionfish have a mild, delicate flavor, between cod and lobster and are a good source of Omega-3 fatty acids. These Fish are predators and not native to the area, so eating them is a win-win. Lisette and her team also use the scales of the Lionfish to create jewelry that is available for sale in the restaurant – so it is a win-win-win. We have to open by saying their Fish Soup is one of our favorite dishes on the Island. Now that that’s said - you’ll find this soup and the Restaurant / Bar just inside the Water Fort doors on the left. There is a large covered outdoor deck overlooking the ocean and an indoor section if you need an air-conditioned meal. Fresh Seafood is the house specialty and the owners have been winning awards, here and at their other venue, Steak and Ribs in the Riff Fort, for years. There is a wonderfully relaxed holiday atmosphere here. Order a drink - sit back - enjoy.

This wonderful clifftop venue is a weekend favorite of ours, and many other locals and visitors to the Island. As you eat or drink, you quickly realize you are right on the famous spot where people kamikaze cliff-jump into the sea below. It’s a delightful place to stop at any time of the day with beautiful light and views of the turquoise sea, but it's the wonderful Staff that can really light up your day, as you order from the International/Caribbean/Seafood menu. We suggest asking your server what their favorite things are on the menu that day, as this is an Island - and what's in season, or the Best Catch of the day, shifts day to day. Relax and take in the ever-changing colors.

Their motto painted above the door is "The Fish We Serve Tomorrow Hasn't Been Caught Yet", and this is very true. They only serve what has been line-caught that morning by the Fishermen that moor outside their door. The venue has odd hours and is mostly open for lunch, so it would be wise to call ahead and make sure they are open. The venue is cash only - no credit cards. Finding it can be a bit tricky, if you haven’t been to the Koredo. But trust your GPS and you will find a tiny fishing village row, that the city has expanded around. It’s well worth the journey for the incredible local vibes and cinematic vacation photo ops.

Seafood Kravings has the feel of a neighborhood spot unfussy, welcoming, and always generous with portions. You can come for the shrimp, fish, and lobster, cooked up grilled, fried, or in stews that taste like home but it’s the Seafood Boil that really stands out here. They now have two locations, both a little outside the regular tourist zone, but when visitors or residents stumble upon it, they almost always end up coming back. The food is fresh, the service is easygoing, and the focus is on satisfying that craving for seafood without any fuss. You’ll find this charming, rustic Seafood Shack on the road to Mambo Beach. Walk through the front door through the seating there to the outdoor deck and tables in the sand under palm trees. This is part of the old school establishments that have been here for years and have a loyal crowd of patrons who come for the Lionfish, Conch, Hamburgers, and laid-back seaside vibe.
