Avila Fitness Center is a modern gym located within the Avila Beach Hotel on Penstraat. The facility features state-of-the-art Technogym equipment for both cardio and strength training. Members can participate in group classes that include: Spinning®, Yoga, Pilates, Beach Challenge, Zumba, and Aquatica. Additional amenities include an outdoor Jacuzzi, air-conditioned locker rooms with private showers, and a light and healthy menu offering shakes and snacks.

BlueMaxx Health Club

This is a very popular fitness center located on Mambo Beach Boulevard. They have state-of-the-art gym equipment, free weights and machines, stretching areas, and classes that include the Les Mills Body Pump and various types of Yoga. The club is staffed with certified personal trainers for hire that you can book in advance. Also of note, the health club has undergone recent renovations, including expanded changing rooms and new gym accessories. They also have a spa area, saunas, massages, physiotherapy, and nutritional advice. Visitors to the island can buy passes by the day, week, month, 3-month period, year, etc.

Bob Esprit

Established in 1988, this gym is a testament to old-school, hard-core training. The expansive facility is packed with every type of machine and free weight you could need. The energy within drives you to conquer your goals, and if the stacks of metal and rows of cardio machines aren't enough to inspire you, the trophies and photos of champions adorning the walls should do the trick. With over 22 years of experience, they keep things clean, professional, and laid-back. Whether you’re thinking of your first tattoo or adding to your collection, they take the time to get the details right. Walk-ins are allowed but they get very busy, especially on weekends, so it is best to book ahead.
